Palletizing with side layer press

Fast and safe robot palletizing – optimize your packaging line with the highest level of automation.

Robot palletizing solution with a side and layer press unit

For palletizing open-mouth bags, where the bags are often palletized with an overlap, a side/layer press is used where, after the bags have been placed on palletizing plates, they are pressed from the side before the layer is placed on the pallet.

Subsequently, parallel to a new layer, the layer press palletizes the pallet on the underside of the palletizing plates.

This solution can handle bags of very airy powders.

Bag tilt function

As an additional option to the side/layer press unit, a bag tilt function is offered for the conveyor where the bag is picked up by the robot.

This function ensures that the product is allocated in the bottom of the bag before the bag is placed on the palletizing plates, ensuring less powder in the part of the bag that overlaps other bags.

The bag tilt function increases the stability of the full pallet and means that PanPac can palletize a stable pallet right up to full container height 2200 mm.

Flexible robot palletizing system

Investing in a PanPac robot palletizing solution ensures you a precise, safe and efficient palletizing of your product.

The customized gripper makes sure that the product is correctly placed on the pallet, and Pallet Soft, our own palletizing software, guarantees an easy to operate interface for designing the palletizing pattern.
