Purging

When the bigbag is placed on the filling tube, it is inflated before filling. Within the lithium and other battery grade industries, the bigbag can be purged with nitrogen as an option instead of air for inflation of the bigbag.

This purging with nitrogen, or decarbonized air, is an important process of the filling for many of our customers to protect the purity of the lithium, a process that PanPac can handle as part of the solution.

Special dosing unit for high accuracy

When we deliver a bigbag filling system to a customer within the lithium industry, we make sure that our equipment is designed to handle the products agreed upon. To obtain a precise and accurate weighing, it is important that the lithium product is uniform and has a constant flow.

If the lithium product has a constant flow, PanPac can assure a very low and exact weighing tolerance using precise dosing equipment.

Inflatable bellow

An inflatable bellow is mounted on the filling tube to seal between the filling tube and the bag spout to avoid dust during filling.

Surface treatments

Having experience with bigbag filling solutions to the lithium industry, we know that zinc from galvanization shall be avoided when handling products such as lithium hydroxide.

Therefore, we construct our equipment in stainless or non-galvanized, only painted mild steel wherever it is possible and specified by the customer. Aluminium can be replaced with stainless or coated when necessary.

Temperature and air-controlled room

PanPac equipment like filling machine, bag closing unit and robot can be placed inside a room built by customer. It secures a dust tight area, and outer area can be PPE free work area.
